Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the reconciliation of client SIPPs.
- Update clients on their SIPP valuation.
- Contact and liaise with investment providers, banks & stakeholders for updated statements.
- Process retirement requests as per client & IFA instructions.
- Liaise and collaborate with Pension administrators & SIPP Managers.
- Obtain pension information from pension schemes/providers.
- Administer drawdown requests, benefit calculations, process death benefits & transfers.
- Proactively identify risks and escalate concerns to the SIPP Manager or Operations Director.
Key Skills:
- Experience in pension administration.
- Familiarity with SIPP Pro or Platinum Pro systems.
- Bank reconciliation experience (valuable but not essential).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Senior Pension Administrator Contract Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, up to 35 hours per week – office based Office based or Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home) Bristol, City Centre BS1 Operations Director Hartley Pensions are looking for an experienced Pension Administrator to support us in an important transitional phase for the business. We are offering a highly unique opportunity for a SIPP administrator to help oversee the reconciliation of our client’s accounts and assist with the administration of our client's SIPPs whilst they begin to be transferred away from the business. You will therefore play a pivotal role in company operations and in providing a high-quality service to clients during this important period for the business.
What you'll be doing As interim Senior Pension Administrator, you will be doing the following:
- Administer the reconciliation of our client’s SIPPs.
- Update clients on their SIPP valuation.
- Contact and liaise with investment providers, banks & stake holders to get an updated statement for the client’s SIPP account.
- Processing retirement requests as per instructions from our clients & IFAs.
- Liaise and collaborate with our team of Pension administrators & SIPP Managers.
- Liaise with pension schemes/providers to obtain pension information.
- Administer drawdown requests, benefit calculations, process death benefits & transfers.
- Proactively identify risk within the department and escalates any concerns to the SIPP Manager or the Operations Director.
If you have experience using systems such SIPP Pro or Platinum Pro. Bank reconciliation experience. (Valuable but not essential) Interview process: One stage, 40-60 minutes competency-based and Q&A interview.
