Summary: The Senior P6 Planner role involves leading planning, reporting, and programme management for major transportation infrastructure projects, specifically in Rail and Highways. The position requires expertise in Primavera P6 and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project schedules are effectively managed. The planner will also supervise junior planners and apply various project management methodologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules (Primavera P6)

  • Apply EVM, cost/schedule risk analysis, and change control

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in Rail/Highways infrastructure
  • Excellent Primavera P6 skills
  • Solid understanding of transportation systems (track, signalling, structures, E&P)
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts
  • Qualified in Mechanical/Civil Engineering preferred
  • APM membership desirable

Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support major transportation infrastructure projects (Rail & Highways). You will lead on planning, reporting, and programme management using Primavera P6, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules (Primavera P6)
  • Support project teams with progress updates and reporting

  • Supervise junior planners as required
