Summary: The Senior Technical Specialist - EBS DBA role at a leading Energy company involves supporting and maintaining Oracle databases for the Oracle E-Business Suite applications. The position requires expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2 application administration and database management. The role is hybrid, allowing for 2-3 days in the office, and is initially a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. The candidate will work closely with customers to ensure optimal database performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Oracle EBS R12.2 application, including installation, configuration, cloning, and upgrades.
- Utilize Oracle EBS Applications DBA utilities and tools for applying patches and system updates.
- Manage multi-node EBS environments, including Concurrent Managers and troubleshooting Workflow Mailer/Notification issues.
- Perform database administration, maintenance, security implementation, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, sizing, capacity planning, and backup/recovery.
- Leverage knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, OIC, and Autonomous database management.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2 application administration.
- Proficient in database administration and maintenance.
