Summary: Experienced Oracle batch developer needed for a senior role focused on developing and supporting batch processes within a highly integrated, mission-critical OLTP system for a major Government department. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to produce robust, high-performance code. The role is hybrid, requiring two days per week on-site in London, Manchester, or Newcastle. Strong analytical skills required - including analysis of legacy codeset, working within a multi-disciplinary teams to impact requirements, input into solutioning process to drive out technical options, hands-on prototyping of potential solution approaches.
