Summary: Experienced Oracle batch developer needed for a senior role focused on developing and supporting batch processes within a highly integrated, mission-critical OLTP system for a major Government department. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to produce robust, high-performance code. The role is hybrid, requiring two days per week on-site in London, Manchester, or Newcastle. Key Responsibilities:

Skills Pro*C , PL/SQL and shell scripting. Experience in developing and supporting batch processes and high-volume OLTP systems in either Oracle custom or Oracle Apps EBS. Strong analytical skills required - including analysis of legacy codeset, working within a multi-disciplinary teams to impact requirements, input into solutioning process to drive out technical options, hands-on prototyping of potential solution approaches. Capability to produce robust, highly performant code, experience of and capability with performance testing in a high-volume environments.
