Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in the production of management and financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage all accruals and prepayments.
  • Develop and review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the factory.
  • Maintain reconciliations of site balance sheet accounts.
  • Collaborate with operational management to examine significant cost items or variances.
  • Provide analytical and administrative support during month-end closings.
  • Support in the monthly financial reporting for manufacturing in the UK.

Key Skills:

  • Fully qualified in CIMA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfort with data manipulation and analysis.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of staff and management.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable.
  • Keen eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.

Role Description Princes Liverpool is recruiting for a Senior Operations Accountant on a 12 month fixed term Maternity Cover contract. Although this vacancy is not permanent, this is a great opportunity to gain FMCG experience and network within a leading business which could lead to being considered for future opportunities across the business. Monday - Thursday you will be working from our flagship office which is situated in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool and then you will be able to work from home on a Friday.

Role Description A pivotal role in the Operational Finance team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Responsible for ensuring the Factory accounts are produced impartially and accurately in a timely manner while ensuring that all necessary procedural controls and policies are duly implemented and observed. Your insights will directly influence decision-making at our manufacturing site and you’ll collaborate with a passionate team dedicated to achieving financial excellence and continuous improvement.

Dimensions Provide weekly management information and support in the monthly financial reporting for manufacturing in the UK while also supporting the wider Operational Finance team to deliver against the month end timetable.
