Summary: The Senior Operational Resilience Consultant will leverage deep expertise in Operational Resilience, DORA, and UKCTP to shape resilience frameworks and ensure regulatory alignment within a major change programme. This role requires a senior consultant with advisory experience in financial services, focusing on governance and testing approaches. The position is hybrid, allowing for remote work within the UK. The consultant will engage with senior stakeholders to develop and implement resilience strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape resilience frameworks and governance for a major change programme.
- Ensure regulatory alignment across operational resilience initiatives.
- Advise senior stakeholders on resilience strategy and implementation.
- Design resilience testing and assurance frameworks.
- Operate across business, technology, cyber, and third-party domains.
- Document frameworks, scenarios, impact assessments, metrics, and governance packs.
- Work in complex, multi-stakeholder financial services environments.
Key Skills:
- Experience in Financial Services/Banking.
- Strong background in Operational Resilience, business continuity, ICT resilience, and regulatory alignment.
- Hands-on experience with UKCTP and DORA, including mapping and controls.
- Proven consulting track record advising senior stakeholders.
- Experience designing resilience testing and assurance frameworks.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Comfortable in complex financial services environments.

Senior Operational Resilience Consultant – DORA / UKCTP SME
Robert Half International (an S&P 500 global staffing provider) is supporting a global consulting firm in sourcing a Senior Operational Resilience Consultant with deep expertise across Operational Resilience, DORA, and UKCTP . This engagement will play a key role in shaping resilience frameworks, governance, testing approaches and regulatory alignment across a major change programme. Ideal profile is a senior resilience consultant with advisory experience in financial services.
Assignment Details
Initial Duration: 6 months
Location: Hybrid – UK generally remote
Day Rate: £600-650 per day via PAYE plus additional 12.07% holiday pay with employer’s NI and tax deducted at source, unlike umbrella companies and no umbrella admin fees)
Start: ASAP

- Experience in Financial Services/Banking is essential
- Strong background in Operational Resilience, business continuity, ICT resilience and regulatory alignment.
