Summary: The Senior Operational Buyer role at Rullion involves managing procurement activities to meet business targets, overseeing supplier portfolios, and ensuring compliance with procurement processes. The position requires strong analytical skills and experience in direct procurement, with a focus on collaboration and efficiency. The role is hybrid, requiring 3-4 days in the office per week, and is classified as inside IR35. An ASAP start is expected for a 12-month rolling contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a diverse supplier portfolio, drive initial part sourcing activities, negotiate price adjustment requests, and resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies.
- Manage a workqueue and secure that POs are issued in due time.
- Ensure close cooperation with Internal Customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement.
- Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance.
- Support Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification).
- Update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency and high procurement quality.
- Maintain records of all documentation, adherence of online purchasing and contract management systems.
- Support and/or lead Procurement Business and plan activities.
Key Skills:
- Strong SAP transactional experience (PS1 ATLAS module, production environment).
- Outstanding Excel skills.
- 5+ years of experience in Direct Procurement.
- Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals, and objectives.
- Ability to work in a complex, fast-changing global organizational environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential.
- English - Advanced/Fluent level.
- Experience in aerospace or industrial applications preferred but not essential.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence in using Excel and PowerBI.
- Self-fixer and solution seeker with minimal supervision required.

A snapshot of your day
Day to day involvement in all the Procurement activity within the business to ensure efficient management of the procurement and business targets.
How You'll Make an Impact

What You Bring

The ideal candidate will be able to work with big volumes of information and should be super confident in analysis , excel , PowerBI , lean approach. Ideally the candidate the client is looking for can have experience in aerospace or industrial applications would be a preference but not essential. Must be able to work with miminimal supervision , so a self fixer and solution seeker would be ideal.
