Summary: The Senior Officer, Cultural Tourism Partnerships is responsible for leading the development and delivery of strategic initiatives to enhance cultural tourism in London. This role involves building partnerships with various stakeholders, including cultural organizations and local authorities, to promote key programs like East Bank and the London Borough of Culture. The position requires strong leadership in cultural tourism advocacy and engagement with high-profile cultural campaigns. The officer will also contribute to the Strategy & Programmes team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and influence on initiatives related to cultural tourism.
- Contribute to the Strategy & Programmes team's portfolio of cultural programs.
- Support communications for flagship cultural infrastructure programs.
- Influence and develop new strategic partnerships through hosting roundtables.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration.
- Provide written and oral briefings and reports on culture and creative industries.
Key Skills:
