Summary: The Senior Network Security Engineer role is a 3-month contract focused on providing technical expertise for security-related projects and incidents within a telecoms environment. The position requires a strong background in network security technologies and the ability to design customer networks. Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance and will work in a hybrid arrangement, with 2 to 3 days in the office each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Senior Technical point of reference for all Security related projects, Changes or modifications to Firewall rule bases
- Senior technical point of reference/escalation and interface into vendor support for all Incidence related to the security infrastructure
- Design of customer networks including the support of High Level and Low Level designs
- Providing technical support, Change management, for hard (physical) and soft (remote) changes
- Customer inventory management, Hardware software, EOL

Our telecoms client is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer for 3 months initially.
This is a £325 - £350 per day outside IR35.
Hybrid role(Weekly 2 to 3 days Work from Office)
Location & Travel: Warwick, Southern and Western Datacenters)
Please note that candidates need to be eligible for SC clearance.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Senior Technical point of reference for all Security related projects, Changes or modifications to Firewall rule bases
