Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced support and engineering for core network and security infrastructure
  • Manage and troubleshoot firewall solutions (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper, Fortinet)
  • Oversee load balancers, VPNs, routing, switching, and Layer 2/3 technologies
  • Provide secure networking solutions across LAN, WAN, WiFi, and cloud environments
  • Support large-scale upgrades and security projects in high-availability setups

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years in a service provider or enterprise network security role
  • In-depth knowledge of firewalls, WAFs, load balancing, VPNs, and telephony/video networking
  • Hands-on expertise with: Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper, Fortinet
  • Routing & switching across complex architectures
  • Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCNP (Security or Routing & Switching), Palo Alto PCNSE, F5-CTS (LTM/ASM), Checkpoint CCSA
  • Must hold active SC Clearance
  • UK Nationals only (due to project requirements)

Salary (Rate): £600 daily

Role: Senior Network & Security Engineer

Location: South Hampshire (Onsite)

Remuneration: Contract £500–£600/day - Outside IR35 - 6-Month Minimum

Tektora is exclusively partnering with Networkology to deliver high-impact network talent into a secure environment based onsite in Hampshire .

We're seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer with strong firewall and enterprise networking expertise, ideally within service provider or defence environments.

  • Deliver advanced support and engineering for core network and security infrastructure
  • Manage and troubleshoot firewall solutions (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper, Fortinet)

Essential Experience
