Key Responsibilities:
- Certifications: Cisco CCNP certification is essential. Additional Cisco qualifications or other networking certifications are highly desirable.
- Data Centre Networking: Expert-level knowledge of Data Centre Networking and Cisco ACI is mandatory.
- Cisco Technologies: Strong experience with Cisco IOS (R&S), including switch stacks, wireless (Cisco WLC), and Cisco ISE.
- Cloud Networking: Solid experience with Microsoft Azure networking, including ExpressRoute connectivity.
- Firewall Security: In-depth knowledge of industry best practices for Firewall security policies, root cause analysis, and low-level troubleshooting.
- Palo Alto Firewalls: Extensive experience with Palo Alto Firewalls in a large corporate environment.
- Technical Collaboration: Experience working with other technical teams and specialists. Familiarity with copper and fibre cabling and related troubleshooting.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical information to diverse audiences. Proactively suggest improvements and contribute to the team roadmap.
