What you'll be doing
Acting as a senior, third-line point of contact for network operations and deployment work
Working through difficult faults with packet capture analysis and structured root cause investigation
Managing and tuning routing protocols across the estate (OSPF in particular), and configuring and supporting multicast
Planning, documenting and delivering network changes in line with formal change approval processes, including Saturday change windows
Supporting IoT connectivity from the network side: VLAN design, routing and access control lists
What we're looking for
Around 8 years experience in network engineering, with a record of at least senior/L3
Deep hands-on routing and switching experience, with strong OSPF knowledge
Practical experience of both Cisco and Arista hardware
CCNP as a minimum, CCIE as a nice to have
Experience of multicast configuration and troubleshooting
Background in a financial services or similarly regulated environment
Ideal experience
Experience supporting IoT devices on an enterprise network, such as segmentation, routing and ACL design
