We're looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a critical network refresh programme supporting financial exchange. Experience working in trading/low latency exchange is a necessity.
You'll be responsible for replacing and migrating approximately 60 end of life Arista 7150 and Cisco Switches, working within tightly controlled weekend change windows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the replacement and migration of approximately 60 Arista 7150 and Cisco Switches
- Apply and validate customised switch configurations with a high degree of accuracy
- Manage external connectivity to financial exchanges and Extranet environments
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP and multicast routing within live trading environments
- Deliver all migration and change activity with zero downtime
Key Experience Required
- Strong hands-on Arista experience, specifically the Arista 7150 series
- Experience with Firewalls in complex network environments
- Strong Extranet connectivity experience
- Strong production-level BGP and multicast knowledge
