Are you an experienced security cleared Network Engineer looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a security cleared Principal Network Engineer to play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting advanced network architectures within a cutting-edge engineering laboratory environment.

Essential Skills & Knowledge

• Security cleared (SC) – Non negotiable
• Current or recent experience with Time Sensitive Networking (TSN).
• Strong understanding of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Model.
• Good knowledge of IPv4 addressing and subnetting.
• Experience configuring and managing Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs).
• Knowledge of network implementation and deployment practices.
• Experience designing and supporting network architectures.
• Understanding of NETCONF and network automation principles.
• Network security principles and technologies.
• Safety-critical network environments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop network architectures to support engineering laboratory environments.
• Configure networked systems in line with technical requirements provided by the Lead Systems Engineer.
• Maintain and enhance laboratory network infrastructure and development environments.
• Support network deployment, testing, and troubleshooting during site trials and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing network solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of network performance, resilience, and maintainability.
