Summary: The Senior Network Engineer role at HKEX involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced networking solutions to support the company's technology infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide innovative network solutions to meet business challenges and technical requirements using prevalent technologies.
• Collect and assess requirements from internal and external parties for network changes and implementations.
• Prepare, test, conduct, and properly record network changes and implementations.
• Develop scripts to automate network changes and testing procedures for improved efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to digitalization and automation projects for modernizing network engineering and service delivery processes.
• Collaborate with network service providers and other parties on network implementation and support.
• Troubleshoot and investigate network problems as second-level support, developing fixes to maintain high SLA of network infrastructure services.
• Motivate team collaboration to maximize team performance and resilience.

Key Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design, implementation, and support of large-scale mission-critical IP networks and Internet infrastructures.
• Experience in security, networking, and emerging technologies including Firewall, Routers, Switches, VPN, SDN, SD-WAN, Cloud computing, and overlay network technology.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex IP networks.
• Experience in programming with Python and other languages for network automation is preferred.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Solarwinds, ServiceNow, DevNet, and DevOps is a plus.
• Holder of CCNP/CCIE/CISSP/CISA will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, independent, proactive.
• Willingness to work on weekends and/or irregular hours may be required.
