Are you an experienced Network Engineer with strong Aruba expertise looking to play a key role in a large-scale enterprise network refresh project while helping shape the future of a complex, multi-site infrastructure environment?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation undergoing significant network transformation. You will take a leading role in supporting the delivery of a major HPE Aruba network refresh while ensuring the ongoing performance, stability and security of a large, multi-site network estate.
Working across both operational support and project delivery, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex networking issues, implementing infrastructure improvements, and collaborating with third-party vendors and specialist security teams. You will also influence network design decisions, challenge technical proposals, and help drive best practice across the wider environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong Aruba networking experience within enterprise environments, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Aruba switching, wireless solutions and ClearPass is highly desirable.
The Role:
- Support the delivery of a major HPE Aruba network refresh programme
- Maintain and optimise a multi-site enterprise network environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents and problems
- Contribute to network design, standards and infrastructure improvements
- Work closely with vendors, partners and internal security specialists
- Hybrid working pattern with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
The Person:
- Strong enterprise networking experience across multi-site environments
- Hands-on Aruba switching, wireless and ClearPass experience
- Aruba certifications such as ACSP, ACCP or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs and network security
- Experience working within ITIL-controlled environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
