For one of the main energy clients based in the Netherlands we are looking for a Network Architect to carry out the architecture for connectivity solutions. It is important that you have worked within the cloud for this function.

| Responsibilities |

We are looking for IT infrastructure professionals with proficiency across the following three key dimensions:

Wide technology skills, in domains of Data Center hosting, network, perimeter & voice connectivity, workplace productivity, Audio-Video collaboration services, and cybersecurity;
In-depth technology skills, in domains of; network physical infrastructure, switching & routing, telecoms and network industry standards, Cloud and on-premise security, and cyber defense.
Professional skills, such as leadership, communication and resilience;
Integrate IT infrastructure design and delivery with our key partners, including but not limited to IT operations in both divested organisation and global Shell IT, deal team and peer IT divestment workstreams (ERP, Applications, Information Management etc.)
A global Subject Matter Expert with focus on IT infrastructure in the connectivity, perimeter and hosting & storage sub-domains. Individual contributor/developing architect. Main scope of work is to provide solution architecture development, consultancy and assurance to other technical project resources.
Works as an autonomous IT Architect, translates the guidelines and Acquisition & Divestment best practices and solves common technical challenges. Works within given frameworks, company standards where applicable and policies under defined directions while receiving occasional guidance on techniques.
Manage procurement of equipment and services, enabling design implementation.
Implements designs in controlled changes, able to quickly analyse and articulate plans in response to issues.
Effectively engage with stakeholders such as Project Managers, other technical design resources and business teams.
Contribute to definition and application of best practices and actively drive continuous improvements.



| Requirements |

Typical Experience: 10+ years in IT with some leadership experience;
Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT
Technologies Cloud (SAAS, PAAS, IAAS), IT Security (Identity & Access), Market trends, Mobile, Integration technologies, Telecoms and Connectivity Networking
Stakeholder Management This role works with projects and support teams. Strong influencing and communication skills are required for adoption of new IT infrastructure targets under wider context of changing organizations.
