The role involves backend development primarily in .NET and Azure, with opportunities for frontend contributions in React / Next.js. Fluency in Swedish is required due to daily interactions with Swedish-speaking stakeholders. The position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week onsite in Stockholm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing backend services and APIs in .NET (C#)
- Building and maintaining Azure-hosted infrastructure using services such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Hub, and Cosmos DB
- Integrating data streams from clinical devices and connected health hardware
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices via Azure DevOps
- Occasional frontend work in React / Next.js to deliver end-to-end features
- Leveraging AI tooling - Claude, GitHub Copilot - for accelerated development
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on .NET / C# backend development experience
- Solid Azure platform knowledge across compute, messaging, and data services
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and real-time data pipelines
- Experience with Azure DevOps - pipelines, repos, boards
- Comfortable contributing to React / Next.js frontends when needed
- Experience with or genuine interest in AI-assisted development (Claude, Copilot)
- Fluent Swedish - you'll work with Swedish-speaking stakeholders and teams day to day
