Senior MLOps Engineer, Data Engineering | FinOps, Data Transformation | Contract £700-800 per day - Outside IR35 | Hybrid – London | 9-months Contract

Summary: The Senior MLOps Engineer role focuses on building robust pipelines for model deployment within a major FinTech company's data transformation initiative. The position requires expertise in machine learning operations and collaboration with data scientists to productionize models effectively. This contract role offers a competitive daily rate and is classified as outside IR35, with a hybrid working arrangement based in London. The contract duration is set for nine months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build robust pipelines for model deployment that are repeatable, scalable, and observable.
• Utilize MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker for machine learning operations.
• Implement CI/CD processes for machine learning using tools like GitHub Actions, Argo, or Airflow.
• Manage containerization using Docker/Kubernetes, preferably on AWS.
• Monitor, version, and ensure reproducibility of machine learning models.
• Collaborate with data scientists to productionize machine learning models.
• Work with high-scale data environments and relational + NoSQL databases.
• Write production-grade code in Python, SQL, or similar languages.

Key Skills:

• Experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker.
• Proficiency in CI/CD for machine learning (GitHub Actions, Argo, Airflow).
• Containerization skills (Docker/Kubernetes), ideally on AWS.
• Experience in monitoring, versioning, and reproducibility of ML models.
• Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages.
• Experience in high-scale data environments.
• Prior experience in FinTech, SaaS, or consulting preferred.
