Summary: The Senior MLOps Engineer role focuses on building robust pipelines for machine learning model deployment within a FinTech context. The position is part of a significant digital transformation initiative aimed at enhancing data infrastructure for improved decision-making and operational efficiency. The role requires collaboration with data scientists to ensure models are production-ready and scalable. This is a contract position offering a competitive daily rate and is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build robust pipelines for repeatable, scalable, and observable model deployment.
- Utilize MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker for machine learning operations.
- Implement CI/CD processes for machine learning using tools like GitHub Actions, Argo, or Airflow.
- Containerize applications using Docker/Kubernetes, preferably on AWS.
- Monitor, version, and ensure reproducibility of machine learning models.
- Collaborate with data scientists to productionize machine learning models.
- Work with high-scale data environments and manage relational and NoSQL databases.
- Write production-grade code in Python, SQL, or similar languages.
Key Skills:
- Experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker.
- Proficiency in CI/CD for machine learning.
- Containerization skills with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar.
- Experience in high-scale data environments.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Prior experience in FinTech, SaaS, or consulting preferred.
