Senior MEP BIM Designer

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience

Purpose of the role: We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP BIM Designer to support the delivery of a major commercial development project.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in BIM coordination, model management, and the production of high-quality MEP designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate MEP BIM activities across the project.
• Manage and maintain project models in line with BIM standards.
• Support design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Produce and develop MEP models and drawings using Revit.
• Coordinate services using Revit and Navisworks.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver project requirements.
• Support collaboration through digital delivery platforms.

Requirements

• Experience within building services consultancy or contracting.
• Strong Revit MEP and Navisworks skills.
• Experience managing BIM models and coordinating project teams.
• Good understanding of BIM standards, including ISO 19650.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and public health services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and meet deadlines.
