Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience
Purpose of the role: We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP BIM Designer to support the delivery of a major commercial development project.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in BIM coordination, model management, and the production of high-quality MEP designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate MEP BIM activities across the project.
- Manage and maintain project models in line with BIM standards.
- Support design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Produce and develop MEP models and drawings using Revit.
- Coordinate services using Revit and Navisworks.
- Work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver project requirements.
- Support collaboration through digital delivery platforms.
Requirements
- Experience within building services consultancy or contracting.
- Strong Revit MEP and Navisworks skills.
- Experience managing BIM models and coordinating project teams.
- Good understanding of BIM standards, including ISO 19650.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and public health services.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work across multiple projects and meet deadlines.
