Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver complex engineering projects from concept to commissioning.
- Utilize strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing methods.
- Produce 3D CAD designs and 2D drawings to industry standards.
- Approve technical documentation for compliance and client submission.
- Manage budgets and assess cost implications for projects.
- Produce and review engineering calculations and substantiation reports.
- Communicate effectively across departments and with clients.
- Organize and manage multiple workstreams and priorities.

- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, assess cost implications, and contribute to tendering.
- Skilled in producing and reviewing engineering calculations and substantiation reports.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working across departments and with clients.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams and priorities.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng), or working towards professional registration.
- Experience in sectors such as Defence, Nuclear, Aerospace, or Infrastructure.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., CE marking, UKCA, Machinery Directive).
- Understanding of automation, moving machinery, and integrated mechanical-electrical systems.
- Experience in the design of structures and adherence to Eurocodes.
