Summary: The Senior Marketing Specialist role at Fibrus focuses on developing and executing the company's events, sponsorship, and awards strategy. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective planning and management of marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive attitude, with experience in managing events and sponsorships. This is a maternity cover position for a duration of 12 months based in Belfast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and measurement of events, sponsorships, and awards across Fibrus.
- Work with stakeholders to identify and plan sponsorship activity in line with the sales and marketing strategy.
- Manage, monitor, and report on the effectiveness and return on investment of events and sponsorships through post-activity reports.
- Advise on sponsorship arrangements, including the process and criteria for selection and activation, setting success metrics and return on investment targets.
- Ensure full utilization of the benefits of corporate sponsorships.
- Lead on content production alongside sponsorships.
- Work closely with the Brand and Campaigns team to implement brand assets across sponsorships.
- Responsible for the awards strategy, ensuring Fibrus is entered into priority awards across the season.
- Prepare event briefings, site visits, and drive project planning for events.
- Develop an events strategy to ensure Fibrus is well represented at key industry events.
- Ensure an exceptional standard of delivery, service, and attention to detail across all activity.

- Experience of managing a range of large and small events and sponsorships in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders towards a shared goal.
- Experience of writing and project managing award submissions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to multi-task and work effectively under deadline pressures.
- Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders including agency partners and internal colleagues.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, capable of developing detailed project plans.
- Ability to initiate, action, and work both independently and in a team environment.
- Proactive, creative, and confident with a positive attitude.

Working with event teams, creative agencies and our communication and public relation partners to drive plans and implementation across each of these area s.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DO ING?
