Summary: The Senior Marketing Growth Manager (eCommerce) will lead the marketing strategy and team development for a newly formed digital marketing and e-commerce team at a reputable retailer. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the day-to-day marketing team across eCommerce, paid media, CRM & email, and social.
- Act as the operational lead for marketing, translating strategic direction from the CEO and founders into clear plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Own and grow eCommerce performance in partnership with eCommerce and trading teams.
- Oversee day-to-day digital marketing execution across site, campaigns, and channels.
- Lead performance across paid digital channels, working with internal teams and external partners.
- Work with CRM and email marketing manager to define strategy and track execution.
- Measure, report on, and continuously optimise marketing performance using customer insight and engagement metrics.

Your new company My client are an exciting retailer, with both an online and in-store presence. With a reputation for quality products and great customer service, they have grown steadily over the past 10 years. We are partnering exclusively together to recruit the role of Senior Marketing Growth Manager (eCommerce) based in their Head Office in the Bristol area on a hybrid basis.
Your new role As Senior Marketing Growth Manager (eCommerce), you will be balancing hands-on execution with strategic planning to create, own and manage the marketing strategy and team development of a newly formed digital marketing & e-commerce team. This is a senior leadership role with ownership of marketing operations across eCommerce, paid media, CRM & email, and social channels. As well as leading and managing the team, you will be pulling together the e-commerce roadmap, developing the annual digital marketing plan for all key seasonal activations, and using your deep channel expertise in e-commerce and online customer journeys to drive sales and business growth.
You will:
- Lead, manage, and develop the day-to-day marketing team across ecommerce, paid media, CRM & email, and social, ensuring clarity of priorities, ownership, and delivery
- Act as the operational lead for marketing, translating strategic direction from the CEO and founders into clear plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Own and grow eCommerce performance in partnership with eCommerce and trading teams, ensuring all marketing activity is aligned to commercial goals
- Oversee day-to-day digital marketing execution across site, campaigns, and channels, using data and insight to optimise traffic, conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value
- Lead performance across paid digital channels, working with internal teams and external partners to drive efficient, scalable growth
- Work with CRM and email marketing manager to define strategy and track execution, through delivering strong lifecycle marketing, retention, and loyalty initiatives
- Measure, report on, and continuously optimise marketing performance using customer insight, engagement metrics, and commercial results
What you'll need to succeed You will have proven experience in a Marketing leadership position, with demonstrable skills in team management and fostering growth. You will have hands-on experience with digital marketing channels, with a strength in e-commerce and online customer journeys (including CRM for areas like loyalty, win-back, repeat purchase and abandon basket). You will be commercially minded with strong analytical and decision-making skills, able to thrive in a smaller company and team environment, working directly with Founders as part of the SLT. You will come from a retail/eCommerce background, able to create plans for retail trading calendars and work at pace.
What you'll get in return You will receive a salary of £70,000 - £80,000 plus benefits including holiday, bonus, staff discount and career progression. You will have the opportunity to own and grow the performance of a growing UK retailer through online marketing and e-commerce strategies, working hybrid from their offices in the Bristol area.
