Summary: The Senior Manager Marketing Data & Insights Strategy role involves leading a small marketing data team within a well-known media and entertainment company in Central London. The position focuses on translating business requirements into data-led projects, enhancing marketing success through data insights, and fostering collaboration across divisions. The role requires hands-on experience with Tableau and a strong background in marketing data management, analytics, and reporting. The successful candidate will drive the democratization of data and improve data fluency within the marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of internal reporting solutions leveraging Datorama, Snowflake, and Tableau.
- Expand existing data sources to include all relevant touchpoints for marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with media and organic social agencies to optimize data usage for decision-making.
- Conduct correlation and regression analysis to identify key metrics and implement measurement frameworks.
- Serve as the point of contact for scoping data projects and liaising with data teams.
- Own the 1st Party data strategy across CRM, Web Analytics, and Organic Social.
- Set 1st Party Data retention, engagement, and enrichment objectives with business stakeholders.
- Integrate 1st party data into paid digital campaigns with the media agency.
- Conduct training programs to upskill team members on self-service reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with guidelines for capturing and activating 1st party data.
- Embed data governance procedures with data engineering teams.
Key Skills:
- 6+ years of data management, analytics, and reporting experience.
- Demonstrable expertise in Tableau.
- Significant experience in a marketing data-centric role.
- Knowledge of marketing capabilities such as DMPs and DSPs.
- Strong strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in gathering and interpreting business data.
- Outstanding collaboration skills with internal and external partners.
- Working knowledge of Snowflake, Datorama, and APIs.
- SQL coding knowledge is beneficial.
