Summary: The Senior Management Accountant role involves overseeing financial control and reporting for business contracts, ensuring accurate forecasting and revenue recognition. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and includes responsibilities such as risk management and supervising an Assistant Management Accountant. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Lead to achieve their financial forecast.
- Ensure risks are identified and risk mitigation plans in place.
- Attend monthly Contract Reviews of all contracts.
- Influence, educate and challenge Project Managers and CSM’s.
- Ensure revenue recognition is accurate and ensure costs are correctly forecast, charged and accrued.
- Supervise the management of Assistant Management Accountant.
- Carry out an in-depth review of business rates by cost centre understanding under/over recovery.
Key Skills:
- Qualified Management Accountant / ACCA or ACA.
- Experience in a business finance role.
- Excellent Advanced Excel skills.
- Use of Oracle Financial systems preferred.

Reporting into the Finance Business Partner, you will own the financial control and reporting of the business and ensure these contracts are reported and forecast accurately in the management accounts each month. This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to be in our Warwick HQ on occasion. Please note, this role is offered on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract basis.
What you’ll do:

Who you are:
A motivated professional with experience of managing a strong workload and key stakeholders in a management accountant position.
Key Requirements:
- You will be a Qualified Management /ACCA or ACA Accountant.
- You will ideally have experience of working in a business finance role.
- You will ideally have excellent Advanced Excel skills.
- Use of Oracle Financial systems preferred.
