Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and review P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide clear financial insight and commentary.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and periodic re-forecast cycles.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls.
  • Gain exposure to treasury-related activities, including cash forecasting and cash management support.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience producing management accounts end-to-end.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.

Senior Management Accountant (Contract)

Rate: £450–£500 per day

Location: Slough (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in office)

Contract Type: Initial 6 months

We are working with a large, well-established international consumer business to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is highly proficient in management accounts and comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured environment.

The Role

  • Take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and review P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide clear financial insight and commentary.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and periodic re-forecast cycles.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls.
  • Gain exposure to treasury-related activities, including cash forecasting and cash management support (training provided - no prior treasury experience required).
