Summary: We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, multi-entity environment, reporting to the European Financial Controller. This hands-on role involves ownership of monthly management accounts and providing insightful financial reporting to senior management. Strong inventory accounting experience and advanced Excel skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and ownership of monthly group management accounts across a complex, multi-entity structure
- Production and presentation of financial reports, analysis and KPIs to senior management
- Detailed inventory accounting, including valuation, movements, provisions and reconciliations
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with meaningful commercial insight
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Continuous improvement of reporting processes and financial controls
- Close collaboration with operational teams to understand and explain financial performance
Key Skills:
- Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven hands-on management accounts experience within a complex or multi-entity environment
- Strong inventory accounting experience (essential)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis; Power BI experience advantageous)
- Confident communicator with experience presenting financial information to senior management
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
