Summary: The Senior Management Accountant (Group) at Travel Counsellors will assist the Group Reporting Manager in financial consolidation and reporting processes. This role demands a solid grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, alongside strong analytical skills. The position is a fixed-term contract aimed at enhancing the efficiency of financial reporting and stakeholder collaboration. The company values integrity and customer focus in its candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidation of the monthly Management Accounts and preparation of the Group Reporting Pack.
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements for the group.
- Run the group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations.
- Maintain the Compliance Calendar and support the external audit process.
- Develop and maintain reporting suite, identifying areas for process improvement.
- Lead projects to enhance reporting efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with finance teams across different business units and regions.
- Support ad-hoc projects as required.
Key Skills:
- Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant.
- High on integrity.
- Strong customer focus.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
