Senior Management Accountant (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

My client is hiring for a Senior Management Accountant to join their management accounting team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a fast-paced, multi-site business.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Management Accounts and support a wider finance team, contributing to monthly reporting, budgeting, and commercial decision-making.

What you’ll be doing:

• Acting as a Finance Business Partner to a key business area—providing insights, analysis, and decision support
• Supporting month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Preparing the monthly management accounts pack
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified or nearly qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Strong Excel skills
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Great communication skills—able to partner with non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines
