Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, legislation, and HSES Procedures.
• Provide legal advice and manage outside legal services on commercial, regulatory, and strategic issues.
• Contribute to the delivery of the scorecard by managing legal risks and commercial opportunities.
• Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of commercial agreements.
• Support the Line Manager and General Counsel, supervising the work of less experienced team members.
• Communicate legal and regulatory policies throughout the business.
• Conduct risk assessments on significant commercial opportunities and business decisions.
• Complete compulsory compliance training as required.

Key Skills:

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or Scotland.
• Strong academic background with practical application of jurisprudence.
• Extensive knowledge of Oil and Gas operations and UK regulatory framework.
