Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and negotiate various contractual arrangements, including services agreements and SaaS agreements.
- Support US Legal and supplier management teams with UK aspects of global agreements.
- Manage contractual workstreams for the technology department and integrate legal considerations into initiatives.
- Advise on legal and regulatory risks related to third-party contracting and collaborate with legal specialists.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members in contract negotiation and legal research.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers and business managers.
- Identify and assess the impact of new laws and provide training and advice on legal risks.
- Instruct and manage input from outside counsel as needed.
- Ensure compliance with contract procedures and policies, escalating risks appropriately.
- Own personal development and support the development of others through feedback and mentoring.
