About The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Senior Learning Technologist to join UCL’s Digital Education Support team on a fixed-term basis until February 2026. This is a fixed term contract as the permanent postholder is currently covering a maternity leave position. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the future of digital education at UCL. You will collaborate cross-functionally with all the Digital Education teams, work closely with the Digital Learning Environments Team, Faculty Learning Technology Leads, HEDS, as well as staff and students. You will lead multiple workstreams and services, design and deliver staff development and training, and provide third-line support for specific tools and areas. Additionally, you will contribute to and/or lead projects and functionality testing as and when required.

An advanced appreciation of pedagogical and social aspects of learning technologies and of their adoption and application is essential. You have an understanding of how web-based, multimedia and mobile technologies can be used to enhance learning, teaching and assessment. We are also looking for someone who is proactive, has strong interpersonal and strategic planning skills, and who is passionate about enhancing education.
