Key Skills:
- Engineering or relevant science-based degree
- Chartered Engineer (or working towards with strong experience)
- Nuclear industry experience (Sellafield experience highly desirable)
- Experience in technical assessment & engineering review
- Experience in study delivery / feasibility work
- Experience in strategy development
- Experience in technology development / R&D
- Experience in plant trials

We're supporting a key nuclear programme and are looking for an experienced Lead / Senior Engineer to join a high-performing technical team working on a critical issue within a major facility. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll take ownership of technical work packages and play a key role in shaping solutions from early-stage studies through to project transition.
The Opportunity
You'll be supporting the technical team managing a leak within a major nuclear facility, taking responsibility for delivering engineering solutions, driving technical direction, and engaging with stakeholders. This role offers a strong level of autonomy - ideal for someone confident operating at Lead level who enjoys owning and delivering complex engineering scopes.
What We're Looking For
Background:
- Engineering or relevant science-based degree
- Chartered Engineer (or working towards with strong experience)
- Nuclear industry experience (Sellafield experience highly desirable)
You'll bring experience in at least 2 of the following:
- Technical assessment & engineering review
- Study delivery / feasibility work
- Strategy development
- Technology development / R&D
- Plant trials
- Early design phases (concept/studies)

Location & Clearance
Based in Warrington (Hinton House) - minimum 3 days per week onsite
BPSS clearance required (or ability to obtain)
