Summary: The Senior Java Software Engineer role involves leading the design and architecture of data solutions within an asset management firm in London. The position requires advanced expertise in Java and Python, along with experience in various data tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of data solutions for the front office.
- Work with a team to manage pricing data sourced from external vendors and internal departments.
- Utilize Java, Python, and AWS technologies in data engineering tasks.
- Contribute to the migration from a data lake to a data mesh architecture.
- Possibly serve as deputy to the team manager.
Key Skills:
- Advanced proficiency as a Senior Java Software Engineer/Technical Lead/Solutions Architect/Principal Engineer.
- Strong design and architecture skills.
- Proficiency in Python.
