Summary: The role is for Senior Java Developers with experience in Java 17 or later, tasked with contributing to a complex project for the UK Government over a 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software solutions using Java 17 or later.
- Work on a complex project for the UK Government.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment with a focus on TDD/BDD.
- Design and implement APIs for internal and external use.
- Engage in the development of large micro-service architectures.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Java 17 or later.

Essential:
- Banking/ Insurance/ Finance background is highly desirable
- Suitable candidates must be eligible to undergo SC Clearance – have min of 5 years in UK
- Recent experience with Java 17 (or later) working in an Agile environment
- Strong TDD/ BDD.
- Experience with large micro-service architectures
- Implementing API’s for internal and external use.
- Desirable:Knowledge of Mongo DB/ Jackson/ JAX-RS / mocking frameworks such as Mockito, and messaging platforms(ActiveMQ or Kafka).
