Senior IT Project Manager : Shipping, Logistics and Supply Chain
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Project Manager to join a world-leading Energy Trading company within the Trading Ops, Shipping Logistics and Supply Chain space with a focus on Commercial Operations.
You will need to be based in the Waterloo offices for three days a week but can be remote for two days a week as well.
You will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex, high-risk and strategically important technology projects that support business objectives and digital transformation goals.
The role requires end-to-end accountability for project delivery, ensuring clear governance, effective stakeholder engagement, financial control and successful business outcomes.
Ideal Candidate
- Ideally, experience working within logistics or commercial operations environments.
- Experience delivering projects across areas such as distribution operations, terminals, supply chain, transportation, contracts management/confirmations or other operationally complex environments would be particularly valuable.
- Background in large global organisations, regulated industries, energy or financial services.
- Experience with supplier management and tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps and Jira.
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale technology projects with significant business impact and senior stakeholder visibility. Strong project planning, governance, financial management, risk management and change control expertise.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across business and technology functions, manage competing priorities and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches and selecting the most appropriate method for successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, MSP, PgMP or equivalent project management certification
