Summary: The Senior IT Project Manager will lead the delivery of complex IT initiatives across global business functions, managing the entire project lifecycle from planning to post-implementation support. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring project alignment with strategic business goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT project management and a passion for technology and innovation. This position is hybrid, requiring two days on-site in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive full lifecycle project delivery (planning to post-go-live) using SDLC and project management best practices.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple business functions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
- Communicate project progress and risks effectively, ensuring transparency at all stages.
- Coordinate resources and deliverables, ensuring alignment with PMO governance.
- Assess technical solution designs and manage vendor and internal team contributions.
- Support change management, release management, and systems retirement activities.
Key Skills:
- Degree in a STEAM discipline; PMP, PRINCE2, APM, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
- 10 years’ IT project management experience with large-scale enterprise solutions.
- Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies and business/IT alignment.
- Functional experience in one or more domains: Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Procurement—ideally in the automotive, electronics, or industrial sectors.
- Experience with systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Informatica, Data Warehousing (e.g., Teradata), CLM, MAP, or related technologies.
