Summary: The Senior IT PMO- M&A Specialist will oversee the governance and delivery assurance of IT service agreements during a significant transition process following a merger. This role requires close collaboration with various IT leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of IT integration activities. The position is based in Manchester with a hybrid working arrangement, involving travel to multiple UK sites. The contract is initially for 12 months and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular presentations at board level, to update C-suite stakeholders on project progress
  • Build and maintain the integrated IT programme plan covering separation, TSA exit, and integration activities
  • Coordinate inputs from key IT leads (Infrastructure, ERP, Applications, Security) and manage dependencies
  • Track and report on TSA exit milestones, costs, risks, and readiness to ensure timely delivery
  • Prepare and present governance packs, dashboards, and progress reports for senior stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment between the IT workstream and central integration PMO
  • Reinforce delivery discipline and accountability tracking
  • Provide structure and clarity across a fast-moving IT programme

Key Skills:

  • Proven background in IT PMO roles across large-scale transformation / separation programmes
  • Min. 2-3 years experience in consulting for E2E programmes around IT Integration / Transition & Change
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT domains including infrastructure, ERP, applications, and security
  • Demonstrable experience with TSA governance, cost tracking, and milestone management
  • Experienced in reporting & communicating at board level within enterprise environments
  • Strong IT service agreement expertise in M&A transitions and carve outs
  • History of working with 3rd party consultancies

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Senior IT PMO (Carve Out & Transition specialist) to support a major transition of approximately 120 IT service agreements spanning infrastructure, ERP, applications & security domains. You'll be solely responsible for ensuring governance, structure, and delivery assurance across all IT workstreams through an acquisition process for a PE backed firm. Following the merger of two enterprise businesses, you’ll be working closely with an Integration Lead, IT Managers and the COO, responsible for coordinating IT programme planning, managing the SLA agreements of both companies, TSA exit milestones, project admin and ensuring alignment across multiple IT domains whilst maintaining transparency, pace, and risk control within a complex integration landscape.
