Summary: The Senior IT Infrastructure Operations role is pivotal in integrating acquired or merged organizations into the company's IT framework. This position involves planning and executing IT integration projects, ensuring seamless connectivity and data migration. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and project management skills, along with a solid understanding of business objectives in M&A contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with M&A, IT, and business stakeholders to assess integration requirements and develop comprehensive IT integration plans.
- Conduct due diligence on the target company’s IT infrastructure, applications, data, and security posture.
- Design and implement integration solutions for networks, systems, applications, and cloud environments.
- Oversee the migration of data, user accounts, and IT services, ensuring minimal business disruption and adherence to compliance standards.
- Identify potential risks and challenges related to IT integration and develop mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with third-party vendors, consultants, and internal teams to coordinate integration activities.
- Monitor progress, report status updates, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after integration, addressing post-merger IT issues.
- Document integration processes, configurations, and lessons learned to support future M&A activities.
Key Skills:
- Experience with cross-border or international M&A integrations.
- Knowledge of business processes integration, change management, and organisational design.
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Demonstrable experience in Microsoft Intune or another MDM.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Certifications such as Microsoft 365, Intune, ITIL, or cloud provider credentials (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
