Senior IT Consultant

Location: Blackpool & Leeds (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Rate: £400 per day (Inside IR35)

Travel Expenses Paid

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and support the separation of IT systems and applications.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver separation plans.
• Understand system architecture, security, access controls, and data flows.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth transitions.
• Manage SDLC documentation and governance requirements.
• Lead application decommissioning and data archival activities where required.
• Provide occasional 2nd Line Support during key project phases.
• Travel between Blackpool and Leeds sites as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years' experience in IT, technology, or engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience delivering technical products, projects, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, LeanKit, ServiceNow, and asset management tools.
• Ability to quickly understand complex systems and business processes.

Desirable

• Manufacturing, laboratory, or regulated environment experience.
• GxP and SDLC knowledge.
• Azure, AWS, or Power Platform experience/certifications.
