Summary: The Senior Integration Engineer (Azure) role involves joining a new Integrations Team to architect and build critical Azure APIs and system interfaces for a leading UK economic development bank. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and run critical Azure APIs and system-to-system interfaces.
- Tackle complex integration challenges, including error handling and idempotency.
- Mentor and coach the permanent engineering team.
- Implement modern engineering practices within the Integrations Team.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of software development experience with robust APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) using C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python.
- Deep knowledge of Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in Financial Services and familiarity with SQL and Azure Fabric is a plus.

What You Bring
- Integration Expertise: 5+ years of software development experience building robust APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) using C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python.
- Azure Mastery: Deep, proven knowledge of Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions.
- Modern Delivery: A strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
- Team Spirit: A highly collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills, eager to share knowledge and coach fellow engineers.
Bonus Points
- Experience working in Financial Services, integrating enterprise systems like Workday and ERP platforms, or holding a TOGAF certification.
