Summary: The Senior Integration Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and system integrations for a well-known organization. This position requires technical leadership and collaboration with various teams to ensure effective integration solutions. The role is hybrid, requiring travel to Bradford 1-2 days bi-weekly, and is classified as inside IR35. The contract duration is for 6 months with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs
- Build and manage system integrations (internal and third-party)
- Provide Technical leadership to a wider team of Integration Developers
- Define API standards, security practices, and versioning strategies
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and external partners on integration requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in Back End or integration development (.Net Core)
- Strong experience with APIs in particular Azure Integration Services
- Experience with integration platforms, microservices, and distributed systems
- Solid understanding of authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT)
- Ability to articulate High and Low level designs with Architects
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Proficiency in one or more languages (eg, Java, Node.js, Python)

My client, a well-known organisation, is looking for a Senior Integration Developer to assist on a number of large programmes of work.
The candidate will be responsible for:-
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs
- Build and manage system integrations (internal and third-party)
- Provide Technical leadership to a wider team of Integration Developers
- Define API standards, security practices, and versioning strategies
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and external partners on integration requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
