Summary: The Senior Infrastructure Project/Program Manager in Banking is responsible for leading high-stakes initiatives such as regulatory compliance and technology upgrades within the banking sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex projects/programs, defining scope, roadmaps, and milestones to align with the bank's goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring all projects meet internal policies, data security standards, and regulatory requirements (eg, GDPR, Dodd-Frank, KYC).
- Regularly update executive leadership and steering committees on project progress, risks, and budgetary status.
- Coordinate efforts between technology (IT), operations, product owners, and third-party vendors.
- Enforce, or refine, project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
- Manage program budgets, vendor contracts, and cost control.
- Evaluate and implement change requests while minimizing disruption to business operations.
