Summary: The role of Senior IAM Project Manager involves leading critical identity and access management initiatives within a major Financial Services organization for a 12-month contract. The position requires managing multiple workstreams, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards. This high-impact role is suited for an experienced professional who excels in complex, regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Lead and manage 4–6 concurrent IAM-related workstreams
- Coordinate across internal IT teams, business units, and third-party vendors
- Ensure timely delivery by tracking milestones, managing risks, and resolving blockers
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and handle escalations effectively
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory standards
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails throughout the project lifecycle
Key Skills:
- 8–10 years of project management experience with a strong focus on IAM or security transformation
- Proven delivery of end-to-end IAM projects using tools such as One Identity, SailPoint, Oracle, or Microsoft Identity platforms
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance, and compliance frameworks
- Experience navigating large, matrixed organisations—ideally within financial services or regulated industries
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with regulatory change, enterprise-scale mergers, or legal entity transitions is a plus
