Key Responsibilities:

Senior Hydraulics Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Hydraulics engineer, the role can be based Outside of IR35 if you wish and is offering a negotiable hourly rate, the client is offering the opportunity of hybrid working with the offices being based in Stockport. The role will require candidates to have experience based in the Water and Wastewater sectors with experience of thermofluids and hydraulic modelling.

The right candidate will be responsible for providing specialist hydraulic support on the clients water projects including thermofluids, network flows and hydraulic modelling as well as having the responsibility for modelling and analysis outputs, providing effective design solutions looking at short, medium and long term impacts. Candidates will independently produce and manage the production of engineering deliverables such as calculations, drawings, specifications and reports for civil infrastructure with a strong focus on constructability.

Candidates must demonstrate that they have experience using HADES for steady state hydraulics as well as understanding of CFD, Physical modelling and other relevant technical disciplines such as Civil and MEICA. Candidates must also hold the right to work within the UK and have experience of working on UK projects as well as a working knowledge of current UK regulations and design codes for H&S, environmental and engineering aspects.
