The Role
Reporting to the Reward Manager, you will provide specialist expertise across reward, pay structures, job evaluation, and workforce analytics.
You'll work closely with HR colleagues, managers, and senior stakeholders to deliver fair, transparent, and data-driven reward solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the design, review, and implementation of pay and grading frameworks.
- Providing expert advice on reward policies and procedures.
- Leading and managing job evaluation activities, ensuring consistency and fairness.
- Analysing reward and pay data to support strategic decision-making.
- Producing pay gap reports and supporting wider Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
- Benchmarking reward practices against market trends and sector standards.
- Delivering training and guidance to managers on reward-related matters.
- Contributing to reward transformation projects and organisational change programmes.
About You
- Significant experience in reward, compensation, pay structures, or HR analytics.
- Strong knowledge of job evaluation methodologies (e.g. HERA or equivalent).
- Experience supporting pay framework design and review.
- Excellent analytical skills, including reward reporting and pay gap analysis.
- A sound understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion principles in reward.
- The confidence to influence stakeholders and challenge inconsistencies where required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience delivering training, coaching, or capability-building initiatives.
- CIPD qualification (Associate level or working towards) or equivalent experience.
