Salary: £49210 - £58651 (dependent on office location and proven ability)

Key Responsibilities
- Be a trusted advisor to managers and colleagues on HR policy, contractual matters, employment processes and day-to-day people issues, applying sound judgement and escalating higher risk matters appropriately.
- End-to-end management of employee relations casework, including absence management, performance, disciplinary, grievance, flexible working requests.
- Maintain accurate, confidential and GDPR-compliant HR records, case files, right to work evidence and contractual documentation, identifying risks and taking action to resolve or escalate them.
- Support transition of HRIS from Cezanne to HiBob, maintaining data quality, processing system changes, producing reports and supporting colleagues to use HR systems and processes effectively.
- Lead or contribute to HR projects, cyclical activities and process improvements, coordinating input from others where required and sharing learning with the team.
- Respond to HR Inbox queries and provide clear, customer-focused advice, taking ownership of resolution and identify opportunities to improve colleague experience.
- Uphold and promote CPC’s values, supporting equity, inclusivity and diversity, and undertake other reasonable duties to support effective business operations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience in a busy HR team is required, with strong capability across HR operations, HRIS, employee lifecycle processes, records compliance and first-line ER advice.
- Credible, discreet and customer-focused, with the ability to build trusted relationships and manage a busy workload independently.
- Previous experience using HiBob systems for core HR would be ideal.
- Experience delivering HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle, with good knowledge of HR policy, employment law and contract law.
- Experience advising managers on employee relations and people management matters, with sound judgement on when to escalate risk or complexity.
- Confident HRIS user, able to maintain data quality, produce reports and support process improvement or automation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting clear correspondence, guidance and process documentation.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification is preferred but not essential.
