Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with senior leadership to execute the People & Purpose ambition and HR plan.
- Accountable for the delivery of cyclical people-related activities including performance, reward, promotion, talent identification, and succession planning.
- Align HR plans with business strategy to meet commercial objectives.
- Champion HR strategy, culture, vision, and values while promoting leader-led decision-making.
- Drive the People & Purpose agenda by collaborating with Communities of Expertise and Central Business Services.
- Analyze data trends to inform proactive actions supporting business objectives.
- Provide counsel on complex employee relations matters and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Work with HR squads to shape and design people products aligned with firmwide HR strategy.
- Identify opportunities for organizational change and support business preparations for announcements.
- Maintain visibility of top talent and ensure development plans are in place.
Key Skills:
- Experience at senior manager level with a proven track record in core HR competencies.
- Delivery-focused with a highly client-centric service approach.
- Experience in a commercial environment, ideally within Financial/Professional Services.
- Understanding of operating in a COE model and leveraging relationships for large-scale projects.

Connect to your opportunity This role partners with Financial Investors and Legal which is a headcount population of 806 (640 in FI and 166 in Legal) We require a credible partner and advisor to the business, pragmatic and commercially focused, with the ability to work with ambiguity. Navigating multiple stakeholder relationships, in a matrix environment, to drive delivery and execution of the People & Purpose ambition and HR plan:

Leadership partner and strategic advisor - Partners closely with the People & Purpose partner, the senior business leadership team and COO, to deliver execution of the People & Purpose ambition and HR plan.
Delivery lead - Accountable for the delivery of all cyclical people related activities including, Performance, Reward, Promotion, Talent Identification and Succession Planning within designated service line.
Implementation of business strategy - Aligns the HR plan with the business strategy to meet the commercial objectives of the firm and is able to articulate the HR contribution to overall business success.
HR Champion - Champion of our HR strategy, culture, vision, and values whilst advocating the power of self service and promoting the benefits of leader led activity and decision making.
Partners with COEs - Drives the People & Purpose and HR agenda forward by working closely with Communities of Expertise and Central Business Services, seeking continuous improvement in service delivery and client satisfaction.
Data driven - Analyses data trends to provide insight that informs pro-active actions to further support business objectives, including measuring success, and identifying areas for improvement.
Inclusion - Applies an inclusion/wellbeing mindset at all times, raising awareness of service line responsibilities through P&P channels and ensuring a diverse talent pipeline.
Legal and employee relations - Provides counsel to the leadership team on complex and high-risk matters drawing on expertise of appropriate HR teams (e.g. Employee Relations). Ensures compliance with legal requirements to mitigate business risk (reputational, legal, and financial) across HR and the business.
Firmwide People Strategy - Works in squads across the HR function to help shape and design people products or offerings, aligned to our firmwide HR strategy. Provides thought leadership as well as contributing as a squad member or sprint lead to deliver against the HR strategy.
Business change – Work with business to identify opportunities or need for organizational change and connects with ER to support the business in preparation for the announcement. Actively involved in TUPEs, mergers and acquisitions (incl. due diligence, grade & role mapping, announcement, consultation, integration/offboarding).
Talent management - accountable for maintaining visibility of and driving meaningful action for top talent within the service line. Working with service line leadership to ensure development plans are in place, that highest priority individuals are supported, and challenged, to achieve their potential.
