Summary: The Senior HR Business Partner role involves partnering with senior stakeholders in a global professional services firm to drive the people agenda and support business success. This position requires strategic HR expertise, focusing on talent management, employee relations, and diversity initiatives. The role is based in Manchester and includes regular travel to London. The successful candidate will lead a small team of HR Advisors and report to the Head of HR Business Partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic HR support
- Lead on talent development, succession planning, and performance management
- Partner with teams to drive employee engagement and retention strategies
- Oversee complex employee relations matters, ensuring best practice and compliance
- Support diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives to foster a high-performing culture
- Lead on change management and workforce planning projects
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a professional services or legal environment
- CIPD qualification or equivalent will be highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to deliver people-focused solutions
- Experience leading HR initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
